FAQ

Q: Why PvE damage numbers differ from other sources?

A:

There are can be many reasons:

1. If difference is quite small, like +- 30 -> it comes to how values are stored here. Base PvE values (Gambit) are stored rounded to integer, while, for example Destiny 2 Outgoing Damage Scaling Spreadsheet has more precise values. So after multiplying them on different buffs and scaling to activity these decimals may create the seen difference.

2. Most values you can see here are borrowed from Destiny Data Compendium, so they may differ from spreadsheet to spreadsheet.

3. I may have forgotten to update something, so please let me know!

Q: How precise are values?

A:

Mostly calculated values are rounded by according to mathematical rules.

Damage numbers can be less precise due to the way they are stored.
